Helena's Habilitation Inaugural Lecture

I had the privilege of giving my inaugural lecture at the University of Zurich yesterday. I was awarded the title Privatdozent last February, an academic teaching title. The lecture was a tour through some of my favourite bacteria and genomes, aimed at the public level. My family, friends and neighbours were there as well as colleagues from across the years. I very much enjoyed it. The Apero afterwards was also a lovely celebration and was supported by the research group, to whom I am very grateful. Thanks to all who came!
